Head Coach

Coach Mahan is a Colorado native who played high school basketball at Douglas County HS before attending the University of Northern Colorado. His passion for mentoring student athletes led him to start his career as an educator and basketball coach.

He has coached high school boys’ basketball for the last 15 years. Currently Coach Mahan is serving his 13th season as the boys varsity assistant at Rock Canyon HS. Coach Mahan has had the privilege to learn and be mentored by some of the best coaches in Colorado. Such as Kent Grams (Rock Canyon HS), Joe Ortiz (ThunderRidge HS), Keenon Clement, and Mike Rodgers. He also brings 6 years of experience coaching club basketball for Collective.
