Director | Head Coach

Coach Murphy is a Colorado native who played his high school basketball at Lutheran HS in Parker, CO. There he was a two-year starter and was a part of two final 4 teams. He was also a three-year starter on the football team. After HS he attended the University of Denver and majored in Finance and Real Estate.

Coach Murphy began his coaching career while in college starting as the Director of the Lutheran HS basketball feeder program. Upon graduation he began coaching at Lutheran HS serving as the JV Head Coach and Varsity assistant and was a part of the 2021 3A State Championship team.

Coach Murphy has been coaching club basketball for the last 10 years and most recently served as 17U Head Coach the past two seasons. Coach Murphy’s 17U teams finished in the top 16 nationally on the Puma NXTPRO Circuit qualifying for the prestigious Pro16 finals in back to back years, the only Colorado program and one of two programs nationally to do so. He also serves as Director of Business for Collective Basketball.
